宝永七年 琉球人来聘
本史料は、宝永7(1710)年に派遣された徳川家宣の将軍就任への慶賀と尚益の即位に対する謝恩使に関連する記録である。慶賀使は正使美里朝禎と副使与座安治、謝恩使は正使豊見城朝匡、副使富盛盛富を中心に174名にも上る使節団であった。内容は使節の構成、献上物・拝領物、奏上音楽曲目、琉球国王からの書簡、行列図などがみられる。文中に登場する「玉城親雲上」は、のちに組踊の祖となる玉城朝薫のことである。

This document records the missionaries dispatched in 1710 of gratitude (Shaon-shi) for inaugurating the King Sho-eki and congratulations(Keiga-shi)
for Tokugawa Ienobu who assumed the position of Shogun. There were 174 delegates including Keiga-shi, Misato Chotei as senior envoy, Yoza
Yasuharu as vice envoy, and for Shaon-shi, Tomigusuku Chokyo as senior envoy, Tomimori Moritomi as vice envoy. The content of the document is,
constituent member, offerings, bestowed items, the list of songs that were going to be played, letters from the king of the Ryukyu and the pictures
of procession. The name of “Tamagusuku Pechin” appears in the article, which represents the patriarch of Kumiodori, Tamagusuku Chokun.
