譜久山親方朝典が島津久徴(嶋津左衛門)に宛てた書状である。破損あり。
三司官の与那原親方、池城親方、譜久山親方と摂政与那城王子の署名と花押が見られるため、1861年か1862年ごろに作成された書状と推測される。

This is a letter from Fukuyama Uēkata Chōten addressed to SHIMAZU Hisanaru (also known as SHIMAZU Zaemon). From the signatures and kaō (handwritten monogram) of Sanshikan (senior administrative officials of Ryukyu) Yonabaru Uēkata, Ikeshiro Uēkata, and Fukuyama Uēkata, as well as Regent Yonashiro Ōji. The letter is assumed to be written in 1861 or 1862.
