久米中里間切舊記
伊波普猷写。題名の『久米島旧記』は伊波自身によるものか。本資料には、「久米仲里間切旧記（くめなかざとまぎりきゅうき）」、「久米具志川間切旧記（くめぐしかわまぎりきゅうき）」、「久米島のおもろ」の資料が書写されている。琉球王府は、1713年（尚敬元）『琉球国由来記（りゅうきゅうこくゆらいき）』を編集したが、その編集の際の基礎資料として各間切に資料の提出をもとめた。そのもとめに応じたのが「久米仲里間切旧記」、「久米具志川間切旧記」である。原本は、両旧記とも当館仲原善忠文庫に所蔵されている。資料中、「久米具志川間切旧記」は、仲原善忠氏所蔵本から書写されていることがわかるが、ほかの二資料の写本元についてはまだ確認されていない。 また、久米・仲里由来記に関する新聞記事や久米島の地図が添付されており、鉛筆、朱墨の書き入れがほとんど全頁に見られること、他書からの引用されたと思われるメモ書きが確認されることから、伊波普猷の久米島おもろ、旧記に関する調査・研究ノートではないかと考えられる。
The book Kumejima Kyūki (The History of Kumejima) may have been entitled by Iha Fuyū. This book includes texts from Kumejima Nakazato Magiri Kyūki (Old Records of the Kume Nakazato-Magiri), Kume Gushikawa Magiri Kyūki (Old Records of the Kume Gushikawa-Magiri), and Kumejima no Omoro (Omoro of Kumejima). In 1713 when compiling Ryūkyū Yuraiki (History of Ryūkyū Kingdom), the Ryūkyū government ordered each Magiri to submit their data as the resources for information concerning the compilation of the book. The result of this was Kumejima Nakazato Magiri Kyūki and Kume Gushikawa Magiri Kyūki. Both of them now belong to the Nakahara Zenchū Collection. It is clear that Kume Gushikawa Magiri Kyūki was transcribed from the Nakahara text, but it has not been confirmed about from which the other two were transcribed.
These texts are possibly research notes by Iha Fuyū with regards to Kumejima no Omoro and the other two texts, due to the following reasons: 1) maps of Kumejima and newspaper articles concerning Kumejima Nakazato Magiri Kyūki are attached in the book, 2) on almost every page are pencil and red-ink notes inserted, and 3) some notes are extracts from other books.
