遺老説伝 巻之二
説話集。正史『球陽』の付巻として1745年成立。「遺老説伝」とは、本編には収められない古老の伝説を集める意で、全体141話が収められている。鄭秉哲ら編。筆写者や年代等は不明。巻２では、与那覇勢頭豊見親（ヨナハセドトゥユミヤ）の中山への入貢や、尚巴志の山北征討についての説話が収められている。島袋盛敏による全文の訳（『遺老説傳 : 球陽外巻』学藝社発行、1935年）があり、伊波普猷はその序を書いている。『那覇市史』資料編第１巻２収録。
A collection of legends. This is an additional volume of the history book Kyūyō, completed in 1745. The word irō setsuden means a collection of folklore told by elders which could not be included in the original. The book consists of 141 stories in total, and was edited by Tei Heitetsu and others. The completion date and by whom it was copied are unknown.The second volume records narratives of Shō Hashi's subjugation of Hokuzan, and Yonaha Sedo Tomiya's tributes to Chuzan. There is a book with a complete translation by Shimabukuro Seibin and a preface by Iha Fuyu. The entire text of the book is available in the second series of the first volume of Naha Shishi Shiryōhen (The History of Naha City).
