陳侃使録 全
陳侃（ちんかん：1489－1538）は浙江省鄞県の人で、尚清王の冊封正使（さくほうせいし）として1534年（嘉靖13）に来琉。陳侃の『使琉球録』は冊封使が帰国後、琉球出使に関する記録として刊行した『冊封使録』の嚆矢である。以後数多く刊行された『冊封使録』の内容はこの『使琉球録』に準じたものが少なくない。写本は冊封に関する事柄を記述した「使事紀略」、琉球に関する群書の異を正した「群書質異」、航海神である天妃の霊験を記述した「天妃霊応記」、そして琉球の方言を表記した「夷語」などからなるが、誤字・脱字・衍字が多く、後に訂正・補筆が行われている。
Chen Kan (1489-1538) of Zhejian in Yin County, China, visited Ryukyu in 1534 on an investiture mission for the enthronement of King Shō Sei. Chen Kan’s Shi Ryūkyū Roku (Records of Ryūkyū) is the first Sappō Shiroku (Records of Investiture Missions from China), reports on the investiture missions made after the envoys returned to China. Later, a series of Sappō Shiroku were published and often modeled after the contents of Shi Ryūkyū Roku. This existing text is a copy of the book consisting of several chapters, such as "Shiji Kiryaku," describing sappō (the tributary system with China); "Gunsho shitsui," pointing out errors on writings regarding Ryukyu; "Tenpi reiōki" describing miracles of Tenpi, the sea goddess; and "Igo" describing the Ryukyuan language, with many omitted words and characters, and misprints, thus afterwards corrections and improvements were carried out.
