解説

『中山世鑑』の不備を『歴代宝案』等で補い、蔡鐸（さいたく）が漢訳し、更に蔡温（さいおん）が改修した琉球史書。ただし本書は源直温が編んだ1832年（天保3）の版本からの写本で、系図と歴代国王の略解のみが記されており、本編は収められていない。源直温の跋文を付す。

Description

A history book of Ryukyu, in which Sai Taku translated the missing parts from the Chūzan Seikan into Chinese using the Rekidai Hōan, later improved by Sai On. In the 1823 copy of the book compiled by Minamoto Naoatsu, made by woodblock printing, only the genealogies and history of the Kings of Ryukyu are recorded, the full original version not included. Includes a postscript by Minamoto Naoatsu.
