解説

本書は琉球王国歴代の国相（こくしょう）と法司（ほうし）の名前や任職期間などを記した『中山王府相卿伝職年譜』の写本。国相とは琉球の官職で言うところの摂政（せっせい）であり、法司とは三司官（さんしかん）に当る。最初の編纂が行われたのは康熙54年（1715年）で、以後順次書き継がれていったものと思われる。国相・法司、どちらも古琉球から近世琉球の尚泰（しょうたい）までに就任した歴代の人物の名前が見える。

Description

A manuscript of “Genealogy of the Chuzan Government” recording the names and length of ordination of the Hōshi and Kokushō throughout the history of the Ryukyu Kingdom. Kokushō is similar to the Chief Councillor of the Ryukyu government service; Hōshi is similar to the Sanshikan administrative officials. The first compilation was made in the year 1715; afterwards, it’s thought that it was written from there in sequential order. The names of the people inaugurated as Kokushō and Hōshi from ancient Ryukyu up until King Shō Tai of modern history can be seen.
