解説
筆者名、奥付け共に無し正月元旦から、12月除夜までの主に首里王府内の行事について、月ごとにその行事の由来と内容を記録したもの。写本の末尾に「右旧記由来記球陽其外諸書見合取調部如斯御座候以上」（右の内容は、「琉球国旧記」「琉球国由来記」「球陽」そのほかの色々な本を見比べて調べた結果、このようになりました。）とあるところから、記述の内容は穏当なものと言える。

Records of the history and details of the events month by month.At the end of the book is written “The above contents are the results of comparing the “Old Records of Ryukyu”, “Ryukyu Country Records of Origins”, the “Kyuyo” and various other books. The contents recorded are said to be reliable.
