解説

田島利三郎が明治27年の10月15日から着手したもので、『万葉集』の古語と琉球語とを比較したもの。4巻まで完成しており、5巻以降未完である。他にも「くわいにや」や「やらし」等の琉球古謡も収録されている。後半に目次も書きつけてあることから、田島が将来発表する意図があったことが分かる。伊波普猷全集第６巻所収の「校訂おもろそうし」の序参照。

Description

Started by Tajima Risaburō on October 15th 1894, comparing ancient Japanese language from the　Manyōshū” and the Ryukyuan language. Completed up to the 4th section, from the 5 section is incomplete. Also “Kwena” and “Yarashi” and other old Ryukyuan songs are recorded. There is also a contents page written in the second half, so it is thought that Tajima must have had the intention to publish it.Refer to the preface of “Kotei Omoro Soshi” complete works by Iha Fuyu, chapter 6.
