解説

1件。75丁。辛卯年（1891年ヵ）5月吉辰仕立。本史料にはタイトルが二つ付されており、はじめに「辛卯年五月吉辰仕立離方間切之村々廻見日記宮良當宗記」とあるが、後ろには「卯年上国之時日記宮良親雲上」とある。内容は前欠である。収録記事は11月28日から3月2日までの記事が確認ができ、沖縄本島での活動について日記風に記されていることから後者のタイトルの方がふさわしい。作成年は「知事丸岡莞爾（ちじまるおかかんじ）」という記述や「八重山島役所長（やえやましまやくしょちょう）」として大田洋介（おおたようすけ）が登場していることから1891年と比定できる。

Description

Written by Miyara Tōsō (Matsumo-uji Tōsō) on May, 1891.This document has two titles, one being Hanarehō Magiri no Muramura Kaiken Nikki (The Survey Diary of Distant Villages), and the other being Udoshi Jōkoku no Toki Nikki (Diary Written during the Stay on Okinawa Island in the Year of Rabbit). The beginning of the document is missing. It is recognized that the entries included are from November 28 to March 2. As it appears to be diary entries on the activities on Okinawa Island, the latter title seems to be more appropriate.(Updated on March 10, 2015)
