山林真秘・諸法式・伊勢故実 / An insight into forestry, Various ceremonial methods, and Customs and manners of Ise
1件。52丁。26.5×19.5cm。楮紙。写本。1737 年に蔡温によって編集され、首里王府評定所から公布された『杣山法式帳』（1737年）の趣旨を漢文で詳説したもので、1751年頃に中国人にも理解しやすいよう著述したものと推定される。内容は、材木の効用・杣山の森林立地学的見方・遠方よりの森林状況の見方な どが詳説されており、今日でも高く評価されている。現存する『山林真秘』は、本文庫本の1本のみであったが、近年、久米島の上江洲家文書にも同書が確認さ れている。
This Chinese document was written based on the contents of Somayama Hōshikichō (1737), which was released by the Shuri Government assessment agency in 1737. Edited by Sai On in the same year, this document was released around 1751, presumably to make it easier for the Chinese to understand its original contents, of which included in detail the uses of wood, academic opinions on the locations of forests, and ways to determine the conditions of forests from a distance. This book is still held in high regard today. Until recently, this book had been the only existing copy of Sanrinshinpi, but another copy has been confirmed in the Uezu Family collection in Kume Island.(Updated on March 25, 2015)
