1件。82頁。明治23（1890）年12月21日印刷。明治時代に発行された数学の教科書。面積や体積の求め方などから始まり、収録されている範囲は広い。本史料の特徴として、単位などは日本古来の度量衡法に基づいた寸や尺といったものであるが、同時に「＋」・「－」・「√」などといった記号の説明などが紹介されている。

Description

A mathematics textbook issued during the Meiji Era. Starting from methods of finding the area and volume of objects, the book covers a wide range of topics. One distinctive feature of this book is that all measurements were based on the Japanese traditional metric of shaku, but at the same time explanations were made for the symbols +, - and √ .
