一門和睦伝 / A book of family precepts
1件。3枚。24.0×16.0cm。楮紙。写し。罫紙使用。嘉慶17（1812）年2月書写。筆写者不明。教訓書。作成年代は文末に嘉慶 17（1812）年2月とあるが原本を著した年なのか、筆写の年なのかは不明。末尾に「右者錦芳氏之睦伝より写す」とあり、同じく八重山の士族である錦芳氏が所有する文書を筆写したものである。内容は、一門・親族が仲睦まじくしていくために重要な精神を説き、それを代々続けていくことが必要だと記している。
Author unknown. A book of moral precepts. The text was dated Febuary 1812 at the end, but it is unclear whether this is the date for the original or this particular copy. At the end, it is written that the above was a copy from Kinpou's 'Bokuden'. From this we can tell that this is a handwritten copy of the original held by the Yaeyama elite- Kinpou. The text writes about the importance of harmony within the family and advocates that this mindset should be contined throughout the generations.
