1件。2丁。35.5×90.2cm。青雁。同治6（1867）年6月。本史料は、1867年に翁長親雲上とその息子である真山戸が「観世音菩薩」に対して願をかけた時の願文である。おそらく石垣島の富崎観音堂にて行われており、願いの内容は、沖縄本島で疱瘡が流行っているので、子どもたちが軽い症状で済むようにということと、家内安全についてである。宮良殿内文庫128号文書の「願書」との関連が伺える。仏供としてそなえられた「御花」は米、「御五水」は酒（泡盛）、「御茶之子」はお茶菓子である。

Description

This historical document contains the prayers of Peechin Onaga and his son Mayamado when they were　making wishes to Kannon. This most probably took place at Fusaki Kannon Temple on Ishigaki Island. Its contents are about their hopes that children could be minimally infected from smallpox which were spread throughout mainland Okinawa, as well as general safety within the household. Related to source no. 128 “Negai gaki’ in the Miyara-Dounchi Library. As offerings to Kannon, Mihana was in the form of rice; Ugushii rice wine (awamori); and Uchanuku tea cakes.
