1件。8丁。25.6×19.4cm。楮紙。八重山島の目差（めざし）クラス・与人（ゆんちゅ）クラス・首里大屋子（しゅりおおやこ）クラスが提出した要望書に頭（かしら）三人が次書きした文書。宛先不明。上国する役人が進上物や付届として持参する物品が百姓の負担となっていることから、百姓から物品を求めることをやめるよう命じられたこと対して、制限付きで許可していただきたいという内容を要請している。作成年不明。

Description

A letter of request from the Mezashi class, Yunchu class and Shuri Ooyako class of Yaeyama Island that is backed by the three Kashiras. Addressee unknown. The gifts and goods brought to mainland Okinawa by these government officials came from the peasants. As it was such a burden on them, the Yaeyama officials were ordered to stop taking goods from the peasants. In this letter, they are jointly requesting the conditional permission to ask for certain goods from the peasants.
