宮古島江之書状地案 / Letters to Miyako Island
光緒4（1878）年正月。26.0×19.0cm。1件，3枚。標題に「松茂氏宮良記」とあり，宮良當宗による控え。 3通の書状からなる1件文書であり，1通は11月25日付けの宮古の砂川親雲上宛の書状。 2通は2月11日付けの同親雲上宛の書状。3通は同月同日付けの松原目差宛の書状。 そのいずれも宮良からの書状の控えである。 宮古地域と八重山地域は行政的に区別されていたが， 両地域の行政首脳の間では形式的・個人的な交流があり， その事情を示す文書の一つである。
Titled Matsumoshi Miyara Ki, this is a collection of letters from Miyara, Tousou. Comprised of 3 letters in total, the first one was dated 25 November and was addressed to Peechin Sunagawa from Miyako Island. The second letter was dated 11th Febuary and was addressed to the same Peechin. The third letter had the same date and was addressed to Mezashi Matsubara. These letters showed that although the Miyako and Yaeyama areas were separate administrative districts, their leaders had formal as well as personal correspondences.
