御教條
1732年11月に、当時の摂政・三司官の連名で評定所から出された文書。蔡温(具志頭親方)が立案し発布したものとして有名である。琉球の国体を述べどのように生活すべきかという基準を詳細に規定している。その範囲はすべての階層に及び、教育から冠婚葬祭、信仰まで全32条にわたって述べられている。また、筆算稽古の教科書として用いられ、北は奄美諸島から南は八重山諸島にまで写本が存在している。本『御教条』は、八重山の喜舎場家に残されていたものを仲原が入手したものとみられ、表と末尾には墨書きで練習した跡が伺え喜舎場英詳(明治24(1891)年当時頭職)の名を見ることができる。
The documents issued from Hyojosho(administrative office) under the name of Sissi( regent )and Sanshikan(Council of Three ) in November 1732. It is well known that Saion(Gushichan Uekata)devised a plan and issued it. This book states in detail that the status of Ryukyu kingdom, how the people of Ryukyu should live and it covers all classes of society. The content consits of 32 articles, ranged from education, rituals, religion and belief. The original book was found by Nakahara at the home of Kishaba family. The trace of practice with brush and ink, and the signature of Kishaba Eisyo can be found(He was in the position of Kashira at the time of 1890).
