琉球冠船記録 慶応二年六 冠船付日帳
慶応2(1866)年に琉球に渡来した冠船(冊封使を乗せた船)に関する公文書類の写本(全9冊)としてまとめられたもので、本史料は第6冊目にあたる。この時の冊封使は正使趙新・副使于光甲らで尚泰の冊封のため来琉した。幕末期の册封使招請をめぐる琉球王府側の対応や接待・贈答の実態をうかがうことができる貴重な史料である。この6冊目では、主に来琉前の業務や冊封使への対応などについて確認が薩摩側になされている状況を知ることができる。本史料は島津玉里家によって収集され、現在の玉里文庫番外史料に残されている元治・慶応年間中の冊封使来琉時に行われた冠船貿易に関する史料15点の内の「冠船付日帳」を筆写したものと考えられる。同様に、玉里文庫に残されていた15点の史料は仲原善忠文庫内の「支那冊封使来琉諸記」上・下巻に筆写されて収められており、本史料も存在する。奥書には、東京市渋谷区豊分の公爵島津忠承氏が所蔵していたものを昭和10(1935)年11月に鹿児島で写したとある。
A total of nine-volume copies of the official document concerning the event when Ukanshin(the ship from China )came to Ryukyu in 1866. This is sixth volume, the senior envoy was 趙新, vice envoy 于光甲, they came to Ryukyu to acknowledge the status of Ryukyu. This document offers a invaluable glimpse of the situation of Ryukyu under the tributary system of China at the closing days of Tokugawa Shogunate, and how the Ryukyu conducted the invitation, entertainment and gift-exchange with China.
