沖縄縣地誌略
小学校の地理教科書。沖縄師範学校が作成した稿本を修正委員が見直し、更に校訂したもの。本書の構成は、総論・本島・中頭・国頭・島尻・属島・両先島・地名読例からなる。沖縄県略図の地図あり。冒頭には、明治17(1884)年の沖縄県令の西村捨三による附言がある。

The geography textbook for elementary students. The manuscript that Okinawa teacher's school wrote was proofread and revised by the emendation committee and then it was checked again. The book consists of general statement of the subject, the description of the main land, Nakagami( central part), Kunigami (northern part), Shimajiri ( southern part ) of Okinawa and zokuto (smaller islands that belong to Okinawa ), ryo-sakishima(Miyako and Yaeyama islands), and how to read the name of the each place. There is an additional remark by the then-governor, Nishimura Sutezo at the end of the book in 1884.
