解説

1840(尚育6・道光20)年に挙行された聞得大君(きこえおおきみ：琉球最高神女)の就任儀礼「御新下（おあらおり）」に関する記録。首里から斎場御嶽までの往還の準備に関する、王府と大里間切のやり取りをみることができる。本資料は筆写したものであるが、底本とした写本に関する情報は不明である。

Description

This is a record related to the accession ceremony of the Kikoeōkimi , the supreme Goddess of Ryukyu, held in 1840. It reveals the correspondence that took place between the Ryukyu royal government and Ōzato majiri (district) concerning preparations for the ritual walk to and from Shuri to Sefa Utaki. This document is a transcription. Information concerning the original manuscript is not known.
