琉球処分提網
本史料は、明治4(1871)年から同12(1879)年に至るまでの琉球処分の経過を記したものである。伊藤博文(内務卿)の命によって内務属遠藤達・後藤敬臣が、明治12(1879)年12月に略述したものである。遠藤と後藤は共に琉球処分官松田道行に同道した人物でもあり、後藤は後に『南島紀事』(内編、上中下)を刊行している。本史料は、琉球処分研究には欠かせない基本史料である。

"Ryukyu Shobun Teiko" recorded the course of the incident of Japan's Annexation of Ryukyu that took place in 1871 through 1879. Endo Tatsu and Goto Takaomi was ordered by Ito Hirofumi who was then-Secretary of the Interior to record it in December 1879. Endo and Goto were in charge together with Matsuda Michiyuki who was the enforcement officer for the annexation of Ryukyu. This is a basic, but indispensable material for research on Ryukyu Annexation.
