琉球人帰国に付国役金の記録
本史料は、天保3(1832)年に尚育王の即位に際し、謝恩を述べるために江戸に派遣された琉球使節の帰国時に関連する記録である。本書がどのような経緯で収集されたのかは不明であるが、近江国(現在の滋賀県)の地域に関連したもので、仙石能登守や家来の小倉忠左衛門などの名前が頻繁に登場している。国役金とは、幕府勘定奉行から臨時的に賦課された税の一種で大名・代官を経由して民衆に負担され、朝鮮通信使の往来の際にも発せられている。

This is a document that reports Ryukyuan envoy on gratitude mission in 1832 that was sent to Edo on accession of king Sho Iku. Concerning the area of Oumino-kuni (current Shiga prefecture), the names of Sengoku Notono- kami and his servant Ogura Chuzaemon appeared in this document, although how this document was collected is unknown. Kuniyaku-kin was a kind of temporary tax taxed from Kanjo-bugyo (commissioner of finance) of Tokugawa Shogunate. KUniyaku-kin was imposed on citizens through Daimyo(feudal lord ) and Daikan(magistrate ) at the time when Korean Emissary arrived.
