解説

本史料は1706～13年ごろの成立と考えられるが、その内容は古琉球期以来の神女にかかわるもので比較的古い内容を含むと見られる。聞得大君をはじめ三平等の大あむしられや三十三君の高級神女にかんしての詳細な規定や、就任儀礼などの様子が記されている。王府の祭祀制度・儀礼などを知る上で欠かすことの出来ない貴重な史料である。本書の由来に関しては、奥書に昭和13年冬、尚家本より謄写、昭和26年5月御評定所本写(崎原貢所蔵)より補正するとの旨が記されている。

Description

This document was believed to be created around 1706-1713. Its content was about the pristesses during ancient Ryukyu. It contains the detailed regulations, inauguration rites of high-ranking priestesses such as Kikoe-Okimi, Oamushirare and Sanju Sankun of Mihira. Indispensable historical material for understanding the rituals of Ryukyu royal government. According to the publication date at the end of the book, this document is a mimeographed copy of Shoke-bon created in 1938 winter >and also made from Hyojosho-bon( in the possession of Sakihara Mitsugu) in April 1951.
