解説

巻物1枚　31×439㎝
成立年不明。世界図を冒頭に、朝鮮(韓)半島を詳細に記述した地図である。末尾に日本国図と琉球国図がある。日本国図、琉球国図の記載形式は、1470年代頃の琉球情報を記した「海東諸国記」(1471年)のものと同系統であることから、朝鮮国で作成された絵図と思われる。

Description

Single scroll; 31 cm by 439 cm; year of completion unknown. This scroll begins with a world map and details of the Korean (Han) Peninsula. A map of Japan and the Ryukyu Kingdom is found at the end of the scroll. The style of the map is the same as the Kaitōshokokuki (Haedong Jegukgi) of 1471—which describes Ryukyu in the 1470’s—and is therefore thought to have been made in Korea.
