年不明、4月16日付。三司官与那原親方良鋼から薩摩藩家老、嶋津豊後(嶋津久宝：しまづひさたか。1801-1873）、嶋津壱岐(嶋津久武：しまづひさたけ。？-1850)への書状。幾度かの異国船琉球来航に対する薩摩藩の応対や御馬拝領に対する礼を述べている。記事から道光27(1847)年前後か。

Description

This letter is dated April 16, year unknown (although from its content it is determined to be from around 1847). The letter is written by Yonabaru Oyakata Ryōkō, a sanshikan (top senior official of Ryukyu), addressed to Bungo (also known as Hisataka) Shimazu (1801-1873) and Iki (also known as Hisatake) Shimazu (？-1850) who were top-ranking officials of Satsuma domain. It describes how the domain handled the arrival of several Ryukyu ships, and their gratitude regarding the gift of horses. The letter includes Yonabaru Oyakata’s kaō (handwritten monogram).
