東條保著、小倉万次郎蔵版。
本書は明治8(1875)年3月に刊行された。序文に「此編ハ臺灣島古今ノ形勢事情ヲ略記シ」とある通り、台湾の地勢・歴史・民族その他についてまとめた地誌である。中巻では「牡丹社事件」から台湾出兵までの歴史が記されている。

Description

This second volume of this handwritten copies was written by TOJO Tamotsu. It was recognized as OGURA Manjiro collector edition published in March 1875. As TOJO described this book as a “summary history on Taiwan domestic situation and international state of affairs.” It introduces the regional geography, history, and Taiwanese tribes. The second volume describes the history from the Botansha jiken (Mudan Incident) to Japan’s dispatching troops to Taiwan.
