解説

藤淵臣撰。明治元(1868)年の成立。皇都書林発行。「利」巻は、全5冊のうちの第4巻に相当する。序文によると、原典は徳川家の秘蔵する「大日本壽海全図」であり、同書中の「望嶽十三州」「関東八州」を除いたものを撰んだと記されている。「出雲国」₍第51回)から「北蝦夷」₍第75回)までを網羅する。

Description

This book was compiled by FUJIFUCHI Shin, completed in 1868, and published by publisher Kōto Shorin. This volume (indicated as Ri) is the fourth book in a series of five. According to the preface, the book’s original source is the Dai Nihon Chūkai Zenzu (Complete Map of Coastal Japan), which was treasured by the House of Tokugawa. In this material, it excludes “Bōgaku jūsanshū” (thirteen provinces of Mount Fuji) and “Kantō hasshū” (eight provinces of Kantō) but covers (map 51) Izumo Province to (map 75) Northern Ezo.
