沖縄県地誌畧 全 / An Abridged Topography of Okinawa Prefecture, Complete

This is an elementary school geography textbook based on a manuscript prepared by Okinawa Normal School and proofread and revised by an editing committee. It is composed in order of a general introduction, information about the main island, Nakagami, Kunigami, and Shimajiri regions, territorial islands, Miyako and Yaeyama (Ryōsakishima), and on the last few pages, it adds the furigana on the right side of each of place names. A map of Okinawa Prefecture is also included. This textbook begins with an additional foreword by NISHIMURA Sutezō, the governor of Okinawa Prefecture in 1884.
