琉球藩史 一之巻 / History of the Ryukyu domain vol. 1　　Ryūkyū-han shi ichi no maki (History of the Ryukyu domain vol. 1).

This is a history book, edited by Kobayashi Kyokei, revised by Aoe Hiizu and Yonemoto Shōzō, and published in 1874. It was originally planned to be a three-volume book with a map of Ryukyu as an appendix, but the third volume was never published. Consequently, the chapter which was supposed to explain the history of the administration of Japanese han (domains) is lacking. A brief summary can be found in Okinawa Daihyakka Jiten, (the Okinawa Encyclopedia), and also on the website of Okinawa Prefectural Library under the Collection of Digital Archives (貴重資料デジタル書庫).
