三国通覧図説 / Illustrated Account of Three Countries
林子平（はやし・しへい）著。題簽「三国通覧 全」、内題「三国通覧図説」。写本。天明5（1786）年成立。本書は、朝鮮・琉球・蝦夷等について地誌的に解説、国境に面した地域の国防の重要性を強調した書である。「朝鮮略説」「琉球略説」「蝦夷略記」「無人島略説」収載。内容的にはHW553に類似するが、本書は解説のみで図はない。表紙に「岩本」、内題を付した１頁めに「慶應義塾図書館」「岩本農園之印」「宝玲文庫」等の印記がある。「岩本農園之印」の詳細は不明。(2017年4月25日更新）
Written by Hayashi Shihei. The title on the front cover is "Sangoku Tsūran zen" and the title on the first page is "Sangoku Tsūran zusetsu". A hand -written manuscript. Completed in 1786. There is a description of geography of Korea, Ryukyu and Ezo, in order to emphasize the importance of national defense at the borders. It contains "Chōsen ryakusetsu", "Ryūkyū ryakusetsu", "Ezo ryakuki" and "Mujintō (uninhabited islands) ryakusetsu". Its content is similar with HW553, but in this book, there is only explanation, no illustrations. On the front cover, there is a stamp of "Iwamoto", and on the first page, there are stamps of "Keiō gijuku toshokan", "Iwamoto nōen no in" and "Hawley bunko". However, details regarding "Iwamoto nōen no in" are unknown. (Updated on November 4, 2022)
