琉球使者金武王子出仕之行列 / A Procession of Ryukyuans Enroute to Edo Castle
巻物一巻。康煕10（1671）年の琉球使節の江戸立行列を描いたもの。琉球人64名、薩摩の役人122名（総勢186名）の人々の衣装や持ち物、正使である金武王子の様子などを細かく描写している。同様の絵巻物の中で最古のものとされている。本紙の最初に「宝玲文庫」、の印記がある。また本資料には、後ろ（台紙）の部分に「月明荘」の印記があり、著名な古書籍商・コレクターであった反町茂雄（1901-1991）の手を経たことが確認できる。阪巻・宝玲コレクションの中でも貴重な資料の一つである。同資料は、修復のため2008年沖縄県に一時的に戻された。反町茂雄については、HW730-ｃ(2)等の解説を参照のこと。(2017年4月6日更新）
A handscroll depicting the procession of Prince Kin as an envoy from Ryukyu to Edo in 1671. Clothes and personal effects of 64 Ryukyuans and 122 government officials of Satsuma (186 people in total) and the appearance of the Prince Kin, who was a senior envoy, are drawn in detail. This handscroll is the oldest one among similar picture scrolls. There is a stamp of "Hawley bunko" on the first page of this handscroll. Also, there is a stamp of "Getsumeisō" on the last page, which shows us that this handscroll came through Sorimachi Shigeo (1901-1991) who was a famous antiquarian bookseller and collector. This handscroll is one of the most valuable items in the Sakamaki Hawley Collection. This item was temporarily sent back to Okinawa in 2008 for restoration.
