中山伝信録 巻一 / Record of transmitted facts of Chūzan, vol. 1
徐葆光著。康煕60(1721)年刊。二友斎蔵版。6冊1帙。蔵書印として「宝玲文庫」「慶應義塾図書館印」が押されている。1巻は、封舟(ほうしゅう)、乗組の員役、船の針路、往復の航海日誌、定更法、風信、天妃霊応、諭祭海神文などについて記す。(2015年3月31日更新)
The first volume of Chūzan Denshinroku, written by Xu Baoguang (Jpn., Jo Hokō). Published in 1721. An edition made from the woodblock owned by a person called Niyūsai from Edo. Six volumes in a folding book case. Two ownership stamps: Hōrei Bunko (Hawley Collection) and Keio University Library can be found in the book. The first volume describes the two ships of Chinese envoys; the duties of the crew; the routes; voyage logs; the methods of measuring time; the methods of reading the wind; the answers from Tenpi, the Goddess of the Sea, after praying for help; a set form of words recited during the ritual of worshipping the sea god; etc. (Updated on March 31, 2015)
