予算牒進達ニ付上申書 / A budget bill for the coming fiscal year
沖縄県令鍋島直彬が次年度の予算を算定し内務省に提出した文書の写である。明治12(1879)年７月～同13(1880)年6月の『警察費予算内訳簿』、『警察署及附属官宅造営費予算内訳簿』、『営繕費予算内訳簿』、『勧業費予算並土木費帳』を収録。予算の作成には極力節減を心がけたが、何分先例がないため、憶測の域を出ず、多少の増減や追加費用も出てくるだろうと記されている。
A copy of the budget bill for the coming fiscal year, which Nabeshima Naoyoshi, a Prefectural Governor of Okinawa submitted to the Ministry of Home Affairs. It contains "A breakdown list for the Police costs," "A breakdown list for construction expenses of a police station and
official residences," "A breakdown list for maintenance cost," and "An account book for the encouragement of industry and engineering cost" of
from July 1879 to June 1880. Nabeshima wrote that he had tried to cut expenses as possible as he could, it had been, however, difficult to fix the amount, because there had been no precedent, there would be increase or decrease of the amount in future.
