琉球古文書その二 [他村 仕明地・旧地頭地・百姓地叶掛地 貢租収入帳] / An account book of Kakazu village
豊見城間切嘉数村が、豊見城間切の豊見城間切長堂(ながどう)村、金良(かねら)村、饒波(のは)村、高嶺(たかみね)村などの仕明地（開墾地）や小作に出された地頭地(士族の役地)からの収入を記した帳簿である。上大屋、前真地小など屋号単位で記載されており、寅年から申年までの七年間の収入や他村への支払いが墨書と朱書で書かれている。王国末期から明治初期にかけての村の経営を知る上で貴重な資料である。
It is an account book of Kakazu village of Tomigusuku Magiri (an administrative division of Ryukyu Kingdom). It is noted the revenue of the village from Shiakechi (a cultivated land), and Jitōchi (a land of Shizoku) hired out to some tenant farmers, of Nagadō village, Kanera village, Noha village, and Takamine village of Tomigusuku Magiri.
It is written with Sumi (Indian ink) and red ink. The income for seven years from the year of the tiger to the monkey (by the Chinese zodiac), and the expenditure on other villages are written in the order of Yagō (a popular name of a household) like Ueufuyā or Mēmājigwā.
It is a valuable material with which we can know what was the village management from the end of the era of Ryukyu Kingdom through the beginning of the Meiji period.
