解説

琉球処分の際に処分官松田道之と琉球側が会議をした時の琉球側からの記録。1875(明治8)年8月5日から7日までの会議記録である。前欠。内容は、清国との絶縁を督促する処分官側と、それを拒絶する琉球側のやりとりなどである。処分官松田道之の記録『琉球処分』の内容とも合致する。琉球側からの琉球処分の記録はとても貴重である。一部虫食いがみられる。

Description

It is a record of the meeting held at the Disposition of Ryukyu, between Matsuda Michiyuki, the Ryukyu Disposition Official, and the Ryukyuan side. It is the transactions between August 5th to 7th of 1875. The first half of the document is missing. Its content is an exchange between the Ryukyu Disposition Official side who pressed Ryukyu to break off relations with Qing (China), and Ryukyuan side who refused to accept the order. This document dovetails with the record of Matsuda Michiyuki who was the Ryukyu Disposition Official, Ryukyu Shobun.
The record of the Disposition of Ryukyu from Ryukyuan side is precious. Partially damaged by worms.
