上京途中の鍋島直彬が神戸から原忠順に書き送った書簡である。内容は木梨精一郎内務省少書記官との面談内容、沖縄への郵便船の便数増加について内務・大蔵両省に意見の相違があること、日清間の外交交渉についてなど。

Description

A letter from Nabeshima Naoyoshi who was on the way to Tokyo, he sent this letter to Hara Tadayuki from Kobe. He wrote about the meeting with Kinashi Seiichirō who was a Junior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, and about the diplomatic negotiations between Japan and Qing (China). Nabeshima also wrote that there was a disagreement between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Finance regarding an increase in the number of services of mail boat to Okinawa.
