日乗 明治十二年 沖縄[原忠順日記 明治12(1879)年] / A diary of Hara Tadayuki in 1879
明治12(1879)年4月～11月までの原忠順の日記。罫線紙に縦書き、墨書。表紙には「日乗 十二年沖縄」と書かれていて、そこに「一竿風月(いっかんふうげつ)」という印鑑が押されている。この期間は原忠順が沖縄県で書記官として勤務していた期間である。日記は月に数日のみで、数行のメモ書き。内容は仕事に関する記述である。沖縄県政に関する法令の抜き書きや沖縄県政に関る属官の人物一覧も書かれている。
A diary of Hara Tadayuki noted from April to November 1879. Vertically written with Sumi (India ink) on ruled papers. On the front cover, there is a note as "Journal, in 1879, in Okinawa", and there is also a stamp of "Ikkan fūgetsu (this is a Chinese idiom which means to have a quiet and comfortable life in nature without things to worry about.)" During this period, Hara Tadayuki served as a Secretary in Okinawa. He wrote several notes for only a few days in a month. There are some descriptions of his works. There are also some extracts from the laws and ordinances about the prefectural administration in Okinawa and the list of subordinate officials who were working for the prefectural administration.
