解説

奥田吉次郎が原忠順の従五位を祝って書いた文章。漢文で書かれている。日付の記載がないが、原が従五位になった1881(明治14)年9月29日ごろの文章か。

Description

Okuda Yoshijirō (it is unknown who he was) has sent this letter to Hara Tadayuki to celebrate Hara's promotion to Jugoi (it means Junior Fifth rank
in the Japanese Court rank). Okuda wrote it in Chinese classics. It was not dated, but he probably wrote this letter on September 29th, 1881 when Hara got promoted to Jugoi.
