倉崎次助が原忠順にあてた近況報告の手紙。上京して、上野、川副、渡邊、岩田、倉崎の5人で同居しているとあり。封筒裏には「倉崎治作」、手紙末尾の署名には「倉崎次助」とあり。倉崎は原忠順の後妻の旧姓なので、治助は妻の身内か。

Description

A letter from Kurasaki Jisuke to Hara Tadayuki about Kurasaki's recent news. He wrote that in Tōkyo, he lived with another four persons who had come from the same town, they were Ueno, Kawazoe, Watanabe, and Iwata. On the back of this envelope, there is a name of "Kurasaki Jisaku," and at the end of the letter, there is a signature of "Kurasaki Jisuke." As Kurasaki was the maiden name of Hara's second wife, Jisuke was probably one of her relatives.
