原忠順宛〔斎藤茂介か〕書簡 / A letter to Hara Tadayuki〔the sender is unknown, supposedly Saitō Mosuke〕
原忠順宛ての書簡、差出人不明。内容は、原忠順の娘峰子の結婚について。宮内省へ縁組を申請して許可されたこと、送籍(婚姻のため戸籍を他家の戸籍に移動する手続き)についてなど。来年1月から峰子をわが家に寄宿させるともある。内容から、東京在住の峰子の婚約者の父親、斎藤茂介からの書簡であろう。
A letter to Hara Tadayuki, the sender is unknown. It is written about a marriage of Hara's daughter, Mineko. The sender wrote that he had got permission from the Ministry of the Imperial Household regarding the alliance between Hara family and Saitō family. Also, he referred to the transfer of legal domicil of Mineko following the marriage, and that he had the intention to board Mineko at his house from next January too. According to its
contents, this letter was supposedly from Saitō Mosuke who was the father of Mineko's affianced living in Tokyo.
