石丸〔今朝一カ〕・川原宛玄一郎書簡 / A letter from Genichirō to Ishimaru 〔supposedly Kesaichi〕 and Kawahara
玄一郎(姓不明)から石丸(今朝一カ)と川原宛の書簡。原忠順に手紙を回覧してほしいとある。永野静雄とは、東京で会えなかったが、永野は鹿島の歴史を忘却しているので、在京鹿島人の組織「温知会」にふさわしくない人物である。鍋島直彬宛に旧鹿島藩士田中健三らから陳情表が提出され、その反対派からは請願書が出されているが、反対派の請願書がまだ届かないので写しを送ってほしい。書類がないのは証拠隠滅の恐れがある。などと書かれている。
A letter from Genichirō (the family name is unknown) to Ishimaru (supposedly Kesaichi) and Kawahara. Genichirō asked to pass this letter on Hara Tadayuki. He wrote that he could not see Nagano Shizuo at Tokyo, and he estimated that Nagano was not deserved to be a member of "Onchi kai," an association of people from Kashima in Tokyo, because Nagano had already forgotten the history of Kashima. Genichirō also mentioned about a petition submitted to Nabeshima Naoyoshi by ex-retainer of Kashima clan, Tanaka Kenzō, and others, and he demanded to send a copy of another request provided by the opposition group because he had not received it yet. Besides, he wrote that he could not obtain the document as there might be an intrigue to hide the evidence.
