明治期に撮影された琉球の写真7葉。箱入り。写真は経年劣化あり。写真の撮影内容は以下の通り。
①那覇の市場(写真裏に「琉球国婦人荷重之図/那覇市場」とメモ書きがある)、
②琉球の女性(写真館で撮影)、
③琉球の老夫婦(写真館で撮影)、
④仔豚売り(写真館で撮影)、
⑤豚売り(写真館で撮影)、
⑥那覇の辻原の墓地と波上宮、
⑦首里城書院・鎖之間の写真。熊本の沖縄分遣隊が駐留していた時のもの。

Description

Seven pictures of Ryukyu taken in the Meiji period. They are put in a box. The quality of photos degraded with age. The shot images are as follows:

1. A market of Naha (there is a note on the back of the picture, as "Ryukyukoku fujin kajū no zu/Naha ichiba: a picture of a Ryukyuan woman holds
a basket on her head/a market of Naha)",
2. A woman of Ryukyu (taken in a photo studio),
3. An elderly couple of Ryukyu (taken in a photo studio),
4. A vendor of a piglet(taken in a photo studio),
5. A vendor of pork pig (taken in a photo studio),
6. A cemetery in Tsujibaru, Naha and the Naminoue Shrine,
7. Sasunoma in the Shuri Castle, Shoin (: an office of the king of Ryukyu). This picture was taken at the time when a contingent of troops of Kumamoto was stationed in Okinawa.
