1件。1丁。26.0×23.0cm。楮紙。明治18～34（1885～1901）年。家屋の屋根を茅葺へするようにとの命令を受けた八重山島頭宮良親雲上による延期願。瓦葺から茅葺への移行は、母屋自体の修繕が必要で、材料である材木や釘類が八重山には不足している。そのため、茅葺への移行を再来年まで待ってほしいという願い。作成年不明

Description

This is a plea from Peechin Miyara (the Kashira of Yaeyama) to extend the deadline for the changeover to hay roofs as ordered by the government. In order to change the tiled roofs back into hay roofs, repairs must be made to the house itself, and Yaeyama has a shortage of the nails and timber required. As a result, he is pleading for the deadline to be postponed to the year after. Year written is unknown.
