解説

本史料は琉球の石高の内、首里王府が持つ財政収支を記したもので編者等は不明、康熙61(1728)年頃の状況を第一巻(収入)、第二巻(支出)として詳細にまとめている。王府が財政状況を把握するために作成したものと考えられ、貴重な史料である。本資料は仲原氏が比嘉春潮氏の所蔵本から複写したものと考えられ、随所に研究上のメモが見られる

Description

This item, consisting of two volumes, contains a detailed record of the fiscal revenue and expenditures of the Shuri royal government (of Ryūkyū’s entire rice crop yield) from around the year 1728, with “revenues” in vol.1 and “expenditures” in vol.2. It is believed to have been compiled by the royal government in order to assess the fiscal conditions in Ryūkyū. Details such the editor are not known. It is highly likely that the pages were copied by Nakahara Zenchū from a book owned by Higa Shunchō, and notes can be found in various places on the pages.
