琉球唱曲 / Ryukyuan songs and lyrics
琉球使節が江戸城内で奏上した「唱曲」の歌詞を記述したものである。編者、成立年ともに不明。阪巻・宝玲文庫にのみ架蔵の確認される史料である。罫紙に「学古塾蔵」とある。学古塾とは儒者朝川善庵（あさかわぜんあん）の号であり、主宰した塾の名である。琉球使節が城内で奏上した音楽には、管打楽器を用いる「奏楽」と、弦楽器を多用する「唱曲」の二種類があった。本書には「唱曲」のうち、感恩沢、福寿歌、慶盛世、頌太平、古囉囉が収録されている。なお、横山学『琉球国使節渡来の研究』（吉川弘文館、1987年）表21によれば、これらの曲目はいずれも天保3（1832）年に奏上されていることがわかる。
This is a book compiling lyrics of songs which were performed by Ryukyu emissaries inside Edo Castle. The editor and the date when it was written are unknown. It is a rare book which can be found only in the Sakamaki/Hawley Collection. The ownership stamp "Gakuko Jyuku" is that of ASAKAWA Zen'an, and is printed on every ruled page. "Gakuko Jyuku" is a pen name of Asakawa and also the name of a private cram school that he ran. There are two types of music that the Ryukyuan envoys performed inside the castle: sōgaku, played on wind and percussion instruments, and shōkyoku, played mainly on string instruments.
This book contains five shōkyoku songs, including Gan'enze and Fushouge (Chinese ceremonial songs). According to Ryūkyūkoku Shisetsu Torai no Kenkyū (1987), these songs were all performed in 1832.
