解説

『琉球神道記』巻第一・第二・第三収録。弁蓮社袋中（べんれんじゃ・たいちゅう）著。表紙に「西荘文庫」の印記があり、阪巻・宝玲文庫となる以前は、関西の豪商で蔵書家であった小津桂窓（おづ・けいそう：1804－1858）の蔵書であったことが示されている。同文庫は同書の初版本として慶安元（1648）年刊行された。神道・仏教の教義や説話について記されている。出版は、丹波の武士、村上浄徳（初代村上勘兵衛）が創業した書籍商、村上平楽寺である。袋中については、HW754などの資料解説も参照されたい。（2017年4月24日更新）

Description

Volumes 1, 2, and 3 of Ryukyu Shintōki. Written by Benrenja Taichū. There is a stamp of "Seisō bunko" on the front cover and it shows us this book was owned by Ozu Keisō (1804-1858) who was a wealthy merchant and a book collector in the Kansai region before this book was added to the Sakamaki/Hawley collection. In 1648, it was published as the first edition of Ryukyu Shintōki. It records the doctrines and parables of Shintō and Buddhism. It was published by a bookseller, Murakami Heirakuji, which was founded by Murakami Jōtoku (the first Murakami Kanbē), a samurai of Tamba.
