琉球詩録 / Ryukyuan poetry record

This is a woodblock printed book published in 1844. It is an anthology of Chinese verses composed by the Ryukyuan students who studied in China. It consists of four chapters. The first chapter contains verses composed by Ruan Xuanzhao (J., Gen Senshō); the second, by Zhen Xuekai (J., Tei Gakukai); the third, by Xiang Kexiu (J., Shō Kokushū);and the fourth, by Dong Guoxing (J., Tō Kokukō). The preface at the beginning of the first chapter was written by their Chinese student adviser, Sun Yiyan.
