解説

竹枝とは、楽府(がふ。漢詩の形式)の一つとされ、男女の情事や土地の風俗を詠じた詩である。本書は、雲山情遷(高崎義男)著、東京の根本書店より明治40(1907)年5月刊行。雲山が琉球を旅行し、琉球の風俗などを漢詩で詠んで１冊にまとめたものである。(2017年4月7日更新）

Description

Chikushi is considered as one of Gafu(a format of Chinese poem), and that is based on affairs between a man and a woman and also on the customs of the local region. This book was written by Unzan Jōsen(Takasaki Yoshio), and published by Nemoto bookstore in Tokyo in May 1907. When Unzan travelled in Ryukyu, he composed Chinese poems about the local customs of Ryukyu, and later, he brought them together a collection of the poems.(Updated on November 4, 2022)
