第1巻。内題『特賜定慧円明南化国師虚白録 巻之一』。安土桃山~江戸初期の臨済宗の僧南化玄興、諡(おくりな)定慧円明の語録集。編者は某と記されている。宝暦元(1751)年柏厳玄喬の校定したものを、京都書林の柳枝軒小川多左衛門、興文閣小川月丸が宝暦3(1753)年刊本とした。(2015年7月31日更新)
The first volume. The title written at the beginning of the text, or the first page of the table of contents is Tokushi Jōe Enmyō Nanka Kokushi Kyohakuroku maki no ichi. This is a collection of the teachings of a Rinzai monk called Nanka Genkō (after death named Jōe Enmyō), who lived between the Azuchi Momoyama to early Edo period. The editor is unknown. This Hawley print is one revised by Hakugan Genkyō in 1751 and published by Ogawa Tazaemon (also known as Ryūshiken) and Ogawa Tsukimaru (also known as Kōbunkaku) in 1753.
