原本。明治11（1878）年、大島大支庁詰（支庁長）柿原義則より鹿児島県令である岩村通俊に宛てた「意見書」。農民が自由に砂糖（黒糖）売買できるよう、独占販売する商社の解体要求を合議の上決定したという柿原の文書に、解体は既に3年の期限付である旨島民のみに伝えるよう、岩村が返答した内容となっている。当時大島大支庁は名瀬に、その他の奄美諸島には支庁が置かれていた。(2015年3月31日更新)
The original. Completed in 1878. This is a handwritten report providing opinions, sent from Kakihara Yoshinori, the head of the Ōshima Main Branch, to Iwamura Michitoshi, the Prefectural Governor of Kagoshima. In reply to Kakihara's report that the request that the sugar merchants' monopoly should be dissolved was approved by the congress, Iwamura told Kakihara to inform the islanders that the decision had been made that the dissolution would be completed within the next three years. At that time, the Ōshima Main Branch was in Naze, Amami Ōshima, and on the rest of the islands, there was one branch per island.(Updated on September 1st, 2017)
